A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss well to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed to help the sauce adhere.
6. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
7. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan if desired.
