A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until it turns golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
