A simple, classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
