A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish with garlic and olive oil.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
5. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
6. Once the pasta is ready, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
7. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil.
8. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
9. Season with salt to taste and mix in chopped parsley.
10. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
