A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil water in a large pot and add a pinch of salt. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, along with the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine and cook for another minute.
5. Season with salt to taste, then remove from heat.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
