A simple yet delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to coat the spaghetti.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
8. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
