A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for another minute.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it to combine with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
