Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and then drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until the garlic is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine and coat the pasta in the garlic oil.
4. Season with salt to taste and continue to toss for another minute.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
