A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, making sure not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet along with a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss to coat the pasta in the garlic oil.
6. Season with salt to taste and continue tossing until well combined.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
