Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water. Toss everything together until the spaghetti is well coated in the garlic oil.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
