A simple, yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the pan, sautéing until it turns golden brown (about 2 minutes).
4. Add red chili flakes and stir for another 30 seconds.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
8. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
