A simple yet flavorful pasta dish featuring garlic and olive oil.

Recipe:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and sauté for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta is too dry, add some reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
7. Serve immediately.
