A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic and oil. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
