A classic Italian pasta dish that's quick to prepare and full of flavor.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in red pepper flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
8. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
