A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and sauté for an additional minute.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, mixing it with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss well to combine.
6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
