A classic Italian pasta dish that is simple yet flavorful, made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Once the pasta is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil, then toss to combine.
6. If the pasta looks dry, add a little reserved pasta water. Season with salt and sprinkle in the red chili flakes.
7. Mix well and cook for an additional minute.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
