A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- Spaghetti (200g)
- Olive oil (4 tablespoons)
- Garlic (4 cloves, thinly sliced)
- Red chili flakes (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.
5. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt to taste.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
