A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic and olive oil.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet, cooking until the garlic is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss well to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to help the sauce adhere to the pasta.
6. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
7. Serve immediately, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
