A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. If the mixture seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
6. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
7. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
