A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 2 servings
Recipe:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in fresh parsley.
6. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
