Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A quick and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water. Toss everything together until well combined.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
