A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish with garlic and olive oil.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for another 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil. Add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired sauce consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese, if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Aglio e Olio!
