Description: A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté until the garlic is golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, gradually add some reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
4. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
5. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
