A classic Italian pasta dish with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of spice.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet with the garlic oil, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to create a light sauce.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
