A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic oil, adding a bit of the reserved pasta water to help coat the pasta evenly.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss everything together for a minute.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
