A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic oil. If the pasta is dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
8. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
