A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sliced garlic. Sauté until the garlic turns golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red chili flakes and stir for an additional 30 seconds. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Toss in the drained spaghetti and mix well, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
