A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until it turns golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix in chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
