A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- Spaghetti (200g)
- Olive oil (4 tablespoons)
- Garlic (4 cloves, thinly sliced)
- Red chili flakes (1 teaspoon)
- Fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving, optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden, being careful not to burn it.
3. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt to taste.
6. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
