A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss well to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
8. Serve immediately.
