A classic Italian pasta dish that's quick to prepare and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until it turns golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
