Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

A simple and classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic oil. If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to help combine.
5. Season with salt to taste. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
6. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Spaghetti Aglio e Olio!
