Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another minute.
5. Once the spaghetti is cooked, reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil and toss to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
