Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti - 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well to combine all the ingredients.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
