A simple and delicious Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.
5. Drain the spaghetti, reserving a small cup of pasta water.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with the garlic oil and toss to combine. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
8. Serve hot, with grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
