A simple yet flavorful Italian dish made with spaghetti, garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet with the garlic and oil. Mix well, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
