A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red pepper flakes and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet along with the reserved pasta water. Mix well to combine.
5. Season with salt to taste and cook for an additional minute, allowing the spaghetti to absorb the flavors.
6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
