A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti - 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 50ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water and drain the rest. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red chili flakes and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the mixture is too dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in chopped parsley.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
