A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic to the skillet and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for another minute.
5. Once the pasta is done, reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic oil and toss to combine.
7. If the pasta seems dry, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
8. Season with salt to taste and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
9. Serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
