Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and a pinch of salt to the skillet, stirring for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to coat the spaghetti.
5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
