A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the pan and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Toss the drained spaghetti into the pan, mixing well to coat the pasta with the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
5. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley.
6. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
