Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being careful not to burn it.
4. Stir in the red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
5. Once the spaghetti is done, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.
6. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic and oil. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed for moisture.
7. Season with salt to taste and garnish with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
8. Serve immediately.
