A simple and flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.

Ingredients:

- 200g spaghetti
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 60ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, being cautious not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes and cook for another minute to release their flavor.
4. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the skillet, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to help create a sauce.
5. Season with salt to taste and mix well to combine all ingredients.
6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
