A classic Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes, perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.Ingredients:
- 400g spaghetti- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and then drain the spaghetti.2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
3. Add the red chili flakes to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds.
4. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in the garlic oil. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
5. Season with salt to taste and toss in the chopped parsley.
6. Serve immediately, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
