- Black pepper
- Dill sprigs
Breading:
- ½ dl finely chopped soy protein
- ½ dl all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Butter for frying
Instructions
1. Season the herring fillets with salt, black pepper, and dill. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes. 2. In a plate, mix together the breading ingredients (soy protein, flour, and salt).
3. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Dip the herring fillets into the breading mixture, ensuring they are completely coated.
5. Fry the herring fillets in the butter for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.
6. Serve warm, for example, with potatoes or a salad.
