A delicious and hearty dish made with soy protein strips simmered in a rich sauce.
Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings

Ingredients:

- 3 dl soy protein strips
- 6 dl water
- 1 vegetable broth cube
- Butter for frying
- 1½ tablespoons flour
- 100 g butter
- 5 dl water

Instructions:

1. Boil 6 dl of water in a pot and add the vegetable broth cube. Stir until the cube is dissolved.
2. Add the soy protein strips to the hot broth and let them soak for about 20 minutes, until they are soft.
3. Heat butter in a frying pan and add the flour. Mix well and cook until the mixture is light golden brown.
4. Pour in 5 dl of water and stir until the sauce thickens.
5. Add the soaked soy protein strips to the sauce and mix well.
6. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes to blend the flavors.
7. Serve warm with rice or potatoes.
