A delicious and filling dish that comes together quickly, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g pasta (such as spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the onion. Sauté until it becomes soft.
4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown.
5. Add the garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
6. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. If needed, add reserved pasta water to make the sauce creamier.
7. Season with salt and pepper.
8. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce and heat through for a moment.
9. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
