Siskonmakkara Mushroom Pasta

A delicious pasta dish featuring Italian sausage and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- Salt
- Water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 10 servings tagliatelle pasta
- Grana Padano or Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
- 2 shallots
- Olive oil
- Black and white pepper, to taste
- 1 can Crème Bonjour Cuisine with porcini mushrooms
- 1 can smoked mushroom cubes (315 g/160 g)
- Bell pepper, diced
- 500 g siskonmakkara (Finnish sausage)
Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta.
2. Peel and chop the shallots and garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the shallots and garlic until softened.
4. Add the siskonmakkara to the pan and cook until browned and cooked through.
5. Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve a little pasta water.
6. Add the mushrooms and diced bell pepper to the pan, mixing well.
7. Combine the cooked pasta with the ingredients in the pan and mix. If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water for a creamier texture.
8. Season with black and white pepper to taste.
9. Serve the pasta topped with grated Grana Padano or Pecorino Romano cheese.
