Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g siskonmakkara sausages
- 1 liter chicken broth
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 1 lemon (juice and zest)
- 200 ml cream
- 3 tbsp pesto
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
2. Heat oil in a pot and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
3. Add the siskonmakkara sausages to the pot and fry until they are browned.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil for about 10 minutes.
5. Add the fresh spinach, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook for a few more minutes until the spinach is wilted.
6. Stir in the cream and pesto. Heat the soup, but do not boil.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the soup warm.
