A delicious and hearty soup perfect for cold days. Easy to prepare and loved by the whole family.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 12 dl water
- 2 tablespoons veal stock or 1 beef bouillon cube
- 100 g tomato paste
- 1 dl rice or pasta
- 3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 400 g siskonmakkara (Finnish sausage), sliced
- 2-3 potatoes, diced
- 2-3 carrots, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Boil the water in a pot and add the veal stock or beef bouillon cube.
2. Add the tomato paste, crushed garlic, diced potatoes, and sliced carrots. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
3. Add the rice or pasta and siskonmakkara. Cook for another 10-15 minutes until the pasta or rice is tender.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve the soup garnished with fresh parsley.
